The split arrangement model

Earn and train simultaneously β€” metro income + rural fellowship

πŸŒ™

Site A β€” Metro (MM1)

After-hours practice via 19AB exemption. Evenings, weekends, public holidays. Income only β€” does not count toward fellowship training.

🌿

Site B β€” Rural (DPA)

Daytime training at approved DPA practice. Minimum 14.5 hours/week. Counts toward GP fellowship training requirements.

Requirements: Separate 19AB arrangements at each location. Must meet RACGP minimum daytime hours at the training practice (14.5 hrs/week, 2+ weekdays, 10.5 face-to-face). After-hours work at metro site is income β€” not training credit.
